Our driver Rama was the best at seeing animals and driving us to make sure we got to see everything. We saw the “Big 5”, including rhinos that are so hard to spot.
The Lodges Henry picked for us for this trip were very comfortable, clean, safe, and the food was delicious always. During one of the days, we flew in a balloon (first time doing it in my life) and it was one of my favorite things of the trip!! We got to see all the animals of the savanna from the sky, we even say lions having their morning meal. The landing followed a celebratory brunch, the experience was awesome. We also had a day where we got to come closer to the community, learning about their wood carving, painting, how they implement bananas to make bear, how they prepare everything with the fruits and veggies they grow locally.
It was such a magical and wholesome trip, that my immediate thought when it ended was that I wanted to do it all over again, with Henry and Northern Masailand Safaris. I’m definitely coming back soon to repeat this!
