In the afternoon, you will be driven to Mamba – a small village famous for its caves, which were once used to hide women and children for weeks during the Chagga-Massai wars. In Mamba you will also visit a local blacksmith who still forges spearheads in the traditional manner until this day. Late in the afternoon, you will be taken to the Fortune Mountain Resort for dinner and your overnight stay.

The park is also home to 4 of the “Big 5” and with a bit of luck, lions, elephants, buffaloes and even leopards might be spotted. The park is also one of the few places where Nile monitors can be found.
